Manufacturing Process
From requirementto production.
A clear, structured path from first enquiry to dispatch.
01/ Overview
Seven steps.One direction.
Each stage hands a clear output to the next.
Conceptual workflowThis is a conceptual manufacturing workflow, not a description of MRK’s documented procedures. Replace with the actual process when available.
Requirement
Understanding the drawing, specification, quantity and timeline.
Design / Engineering
Reviewing the requirement and planning how it will be made.
Material / Preparation
Arranging material and preparing for production.
Production
Manufacturing to the agreed drawing and specification.
Quality Inspection
Checking the work against the requirement.
Assembly / Finishing
Assembly and finishing where the job calls for it.
Dispatch
Packing and dispatch to the agreed schedule.
02/ Step by Step
Stageby stage.
What happens at each stage, and why it matters to the finished part.

Requirement
Every job starts with the requirement. The drawing, specification, quantity and timeline are reviewed together so that both sides are working from the same understanding.
Design / Engineering
The requirement is studied from a manufacturing point of view. Open points are raised early, and the approach to making the part is planned before production begins.
Material / Preparation
Material is arranged to the agreed specification and the job is prepared for production, so that work can proceed without interruption.
Production
The part is produced to the agreed drawing and specification, following the planned sequence of operations.
Quality Inspection
The work is checked against the requirement. Inspection is placed at the stages where it matters, not left only to the end.
Assembly / Finishing
Where the job calls for it, parts are assembled and finished as agreed, then checked again as a complete unit.
Dispatch
Finished work is packed appropriately and dispatched to the agreed schedule, closing the loop on the original requirement.
03/ Quality
Checked atevery stage.
Quality is not a single step in the sequence. It is the standard each step is held to.
